Do any of you guys use the Nosler RDF match bullets?

They are pre pointed without the work of pointing.

they have very small and uniform meplats. Over runs are available sometimes from Noslers shooter pro shop at about 1/3 less than retail.

I was thinking of trying some 140 grain 6.5.

Can't say how well they shoot in .264" but my B-14 likes the 175 gr .308" RDFs pretty well.

Nosler's match bullets have been very very good to me as a match bullet in a pinch. I still use Berger and Hornady ELD's preferentially but that's for consistency.

Dakota, what is your velocity with your 4064 load?

The worst bullets I've ever tried, and I love nosler.

I use their custom comp and BT all the time I could not get the 130 rdf to shoot at all

I have a box for my 6.5G but from what I've read it's hard to get a full load because the bullet seats so far into the brass

Haven't messed with them yet but someday I will

They are consistent for me out of a 6.5 CM bolt gun. My pointing die is now collecting dust

I've used the 140 in a 6.5 creedmoor for over a year in PRS club matches. They have been great for me. I've heard a lot of people have issues getting the 130's to shoot. The 140's were easy, found good nodes with several different powders, single digit SD. I have them loaded longer than AR mag length and shoot them out of a bolt gun. Sub MOA groups. Consistent at any distance I've shot them. I've taken them out to 1275 with impacts being right where the calculator said they should be.

I couldnt get their 140s to shoot worth a damn. Maybe 1-1.25 MOA at best. Shot hpbt from nosler about .75 MOA and loved the 140gr eld M from hornandy.

I got a box of the 130 6.5s in tonight. Gonna try to load and shoot them this weekend. Pointy little things.

I have shot 100 of the 140 grain RDF's now in 6.5 CM.  Not quite as accurate at close to medium range as the 140 grain ELD in my Tikka CTR but still under 3/4 inch at 100 and around one inch at 200.

It is easy to load for using RL16.  It is about 20 fps slower with same 43.0 grain powder charge, and can be driven a bit faster than the ELD.  It comes into its own at long range where it has the velocity of a 140 and the real world G7 of a 147.

ES easy to manage at two nodes, and minimal vertical stringing at long range.

What velocity were your nodes and what's your barrel twist?

I found two nodes where I could use an automatic powder measure that was only giving me plus minus a 0.1 grain (0.2 grain ES) without any difference in MV.

About 2650 fps and 2810 fps.
