The answers are correct.
Nikon's new for 2018 BLACK FX1000 is a first focal plane scope and the BLACK X1000 is a second focal plane scope. Both are available in MOA/MRAd options. The reticle on the BLACK FX1000 is specifically made for the FFP scope and designed to optimize the sight picture and provide the tools necessary for ranging, holdover and wind corrections. Both scopes holdovers can be dialed in using Nikon's Spot On Ballistic Program. I have been using both and the FX1000 is one heck of a scope. I recently purchased another so now I have 2 FX1000's and 3 X1000's. I will be deer hunting this year once again with my BLACK X1000 on a 6.5CM. I have been doing freelance work with Nikon for almost 10 years and I can tell you the BLACK FX1000 scope has been needed in Nikon's line-up for a long time. So far this scope has been very well received and it can be tough to find. I really like the BLACK series mounts to, solid lock up and stout.
The top pic is a BLACK FX1000 and the bottom BLACK X1000.
