Should I be using density altitude in my ballistic calculator or just msl altitude?

I have a couple ballistic calculators and I’m just getting set up how should I proceed ?

Density Altitude is Pressure Altitude corrected for temperature.  If your software has a place to put in DA, go ahead and do that.  If you have a place to put temp, your software is probably computing DA from PA & temp.
