So my Strike Eagle 5-25X56 FFP has shipped and I need to get a mount en route ASAP. It’s a 34mm tube.

I don’t know what height should I get?

It will be mounted on an 18” AR with the Magpul PRS stock.

Also, recommendations for which mount I should look at? I run a ADM Recon on a LPVO I have and like it but don’t consider the QD aspect a necessity on this gun.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Larue 204 CAN is a good option.

Given the cost of your optic, I don't see buying a more expensive mount.

Does Aero have a 34mm mount? They're pretty budget friendly.

With the size of that objective do I need a medium height mount though? That’s my main concern. Never ran a scope like this in an AR.

Love that CAN! I had not seen that before. Great price point for a LaRue product!

You will want around a 1.5" centerline for the optic. That will keep the objective clear of your rail.

MPA makes a really nice mount..I run one on my bolt rifle...my mount is a 1.125" tall on a 4.5-27-56 razor..mounted on a 20 moa rail it would hit the rail at that height...they offer taller 1.250 and 1.5" mounts as well in 34mm..

Good mounts, but he will probably want some forward offset as he's using an AR.

Badger, Nightforce and Geissele are all good options. Kinda spendy for a $600 scope though.

That should work pretty well if you want to avoid split rings.

Geissele would be my pick, made from one billet and the rings are cut and serialized from the spot they came from. They are very well designed high quality mounts.

Leupold's AR specific fixed cantilever mount, Mark AR, is a solid, inexpensive choice.  It moves the scope up to match AR stock cheek weld height and forward enough to permit proper eye relief.  It should clear that 56mm objective lens just fine.  Its best to keep the scope as low as possible consistent with stock height, to minimize cant error.

It has three lugs on the bottom, multiple cross bolts (5 I think) and horizontally split rings, each with four screws, yet only weights 6 ounces.

It is about $75-85 street price from most vendors and is available in 34mm tube size,

I normally recommend Larue LT series or ADM Recon, but you don't need QD RTZ and this Mark AR checks all your boxes at a very attractive price.
