I’m thinking of replacing my Dillon 550 with a turret press.  What are some pros/cons? What is your favorite?  I’m not too concerned about press priming as I use a hand primer for that.  Thanks

I would think twice about replacing the Dillon if I were you

a 550 can make very precise ammo

With that said, if you're looking for the best turret press, the best one I know of is the Area 419 Zero Press

I have no complaints with my Redding t7.

I have the old Lyman T Mag turret press. Works well and I like having to only  set dies one time.

Looks like I’ll go for the T7.  I think they’re $399 new.  I’m looking for a lightly used one at this time.

The biggest factor in reloading precision ammo is the reloader themselves.  That is for sure 100%.
I load on my T-7 very accurate ammo.  But, when I shot NRA HP XC.  My dillon 450 turned out ammo that was just as good as the M852.  Manually cycling of the PM I think helped a lot.  And, perhaps having the sold toolhead may have helped?

By far the Redding T-7 is the best.  Lyman came out with new Turret press a few years ago, and it you look at sort has the looks of a T-7.
