I'm new to this and made this playlist to help myself. I wanted to share to help any other newbies orient a bit faster.
Long Range Markmanship
There are 2-3 videos which are .308 and Primary Arms scope specific. You should substitute those videos with info on your specific caliber and optic selection.
There's a lot of Ryan Cleckner videos because they make the most sense to me thus far. He is a former 1/75 Ranger Sniper. I bought his book, called the " Long Range Shooting Handbook" to support my foundational basics. It comes highly recommended so I am looking forward to the read and the journey. Good luck on your path.

OP, this guys videos are well worth the watch, he goes into proper gear selection, proper technique and proper use..as well as testing specific cartridges/gear for long range shooting..from 22LR to 50 bmg..
