Looks like my first 452 I bought in 2002 I think it was. Paid $199 for it brand new at a LGS. Still have it, great rifle.

Saw the modern equivalent the other day in the same LGS, a 457 Special. Price was $460.

I've nearly outgrown the FVSR, hope to pickup a B14R barreled action soon. This thing has been a phenomenal rifle, and honestly nothing was really needed after trashing the plastic stock. It loves CCI SV and has been competitive in the local PRS matches.

Sako P94S Varmint
Sightron SIII 8-32x56 scope, DIP 20 MOA scope rail. Trigger worked over by me that breaks at around 2-3 ounces.

Can pick off 9mm shells with no problem. Decided to try some empty 22 shells. Out of all the ones I shot that day, I was only able to find 1 of each. Distance was 50 yards.

I actually have two of them. The other one has a sightron S-tac 4-20x50. Otherwise it is all original.

(at my personal shooting range at my house)

The father/son precision .22 project is almost finished!

Put the 10/22 in a krg bravo yesterday and mounted a strike eagle 5-25x56.

10/22
17.5 GM heavy taper
EGW 20 moa rail
Vortex strike eagle 5-25x56
Arken 34mm halo rings
Trigger job by me
Mag release by me
Some cheap Amazon carbon fiber 6-9 bipod

Of course the Bergara is probably never going to be “finished” but here it sits.

Bergara B14r
TT special trigger
EGW 20 moa rail
Arken sh4 gen 2 6-24x50
Arken 34mm halo rings
Harris 6-9 bipod
I’m sure something will change soon.

@dupemaster

You just pushed me over the edge. KRG Bravo 10/22 in FDE is awesome. I can't wait. All my Kidd goodies to fill her up.

Happy shooting!

This is how mine stands right now. As much as I like Tony's chassis, it's too short. Well made though..

I ordered a set of Vortex .9" 30mm rings to bring the scope down as well (these are 1.26")

Here to help!

All she needs now is a good trigger. Thinking the Timney CE…

Shoots way better in the krg.

Middle target was the sight in. Once I hit my poa I pumped 4 more rnds in for a 5 round group then shot the upper two. Sk match at 25 yds off a rickety lane bench and bag.

I can’t find my calipers, but the OD of that group is a hair over .25”

Just make sure to get the extensions or the tool-less lop lot … I got it for my 7 yo kid and the 10.5 lop is perfect for him, but I would need way more if it was for me.

Well, shit. Got the Anarchy Outdoors Penguin grip, and Vortex .9" scope rings on today. The KRG Bravo stock on the way might just turn into another Kidd build...

I'm going to give this one a workout later this week. Penguin grip is awesome!

Vector Veyron 6-24 leaves a bit to be desired. Not bad, but Bushnell Match Pro 6-24x50 got mounted today. We shall see.. range trip next week to give it a go.

I need a good rear "squishy" bag too. What I had really didn't work at all.

At least I made a few good hits. I think I had Winchester Super Suppressed 45g loaded. Can't remember, I had all the mags loaded months ago. I used the Q El Camino on this trip. Pellet gun quiet!

50 yards. I need to get to work.. 10,11 & 12 were 10 shot groups..

Need to work on my hold.. and get a good rear bag!

@Hoser

Gorgeous rig, no doubt and fantastic shooting. I really need to get my shit together and shoot more. I hope to stretch out to 300 yard steel ding'n this season. Hope is the key word...

This is getting refreshed with a Kidd Supergrade receiver & 18.5" heavy fluted / threaded barrel. I'm chomp'n at the bit waiting on it..

FV-SR in a MDT stock. I know the scope seems very high, but I don't even need to move the riser on the stock to get a perfect cheek weld.  I've also got an RPR which pretty much serves the same purpose, though the Savage has a better trigger.  And a Winchester Model 52 with globe sights that I haven't used in a couple years. And a few custom 10/22s.

Cz457 brought it home yesterday. I bought the rail on the EE and the strike eagle is there as a placeholder until I can find a decent deal on the scope I want. Anyway I'm pretty excited to take it out, I have tomorrow off but 90% chance of rain and I'm not wanting to get wet.

Dream build. Larry Jennings (RFC) custom build # 209 curly maple / walnut benchrest stock, built to my specs. All Kidd action, 18" bull. New SWFA 16x42 scope on the way for this one, although the Arken works quite well.

Pics do this no justice. The figure on the maple is out of this world to say the least.
