Not many rounds down the pipe, yet. Unfortunately, barreled action was received and built during a vacation blackout at work so I'm still breaking it in. Center-X seems to shoot better than SK, though. https://www.ocabj.net/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Ocab-20190925-150016-600.jpg https://www.ocabj.net/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Ocab-20190925-144427-600.jpg https://www.ocabj.net/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Ocab-20190920-051322-600.jpg View Quote |

I've totally redone my CZ since I posted a while back. It has a Keystone custom fit 24" barrel, PRX III tuner, Scar 2-stage trigger set around 6 total ounces, Oryx chassis and Vudu 8-32 scope in Seekins rings. It is a hammer. I took it out a few days back to try and dial the tuner in. It isn't quite where I want it, but on a known good setting it averaged .308" CTC 5 shot groups over 5 total groups with SK Pistol Match. This was shooting prone with a bipod and rear bag too. Based on my experience before the tuner, Center X will average better.

Are you getting decent accuracy? I luv the look of wood and steel. |

Originally Posted By Defender3: I thought about doing something similar. Are you getting decent accuracy? View Quote Yes. Very happy with the accuracy, but it will hover around 3/4 MOA at 100 yards with most decent ammo. It took some dinking around to get the firing pin protrusion set to where I was happy and the mags can use some tweaking to make them feed smoother. |

Originally Posted By CBON15: Just don't dry fire on that cone breech without a snap cap or something in the chamber.....ask me how I know View Quote Not a typical cone breech like a benchrest rifle or Anschutz 2013. I only removed a little bit of material to give junk room to move around instead of keeping the bolt from closing all the way. I also set the FP depth to where it cant touch the breechface when dry fired. |

So far, it rivals anything I’ve messed with in the $700-1000 price range. It tracks and returns to zero amazingly well and the glass is great. It does suffer from pretty bad chromatic aberration, but nothing worst than others in its space. It came to me with non functional illumination, but bending the contacts on the battery cap fixed that. Time will tell how well built it really is, but for the $400 I paid for it, I could not be happier. I almost canceled the order and bought a vortex viper, but I’m glad I didn’t. The viper is not $600 better. The wait was almost three months, so there’s that... |
