[Last Edit: SilentDeath12886]
I just bought some Igman .308 168 FMJ "Sniper" ammo from Rainier Arms @ $1 a piece. Not thrilled with the price, but its better than I've seen it lately. FGMM is running at closer to $3 a round, but I jsut want some blasting ammo to get some stuff to check function and quick zero without wasting the better stuff.
Any details on this ammo? Is it a boat tail ammo or flat base? I saw some info that said it is decent milspec ammo. Saw some listings that it might be 168gr M118 loadings. It looks to be an imported ammo. Not a whole lot of info out there. |

You have it so give it a try and see how it does. Pull a bullet and see about the boat tail or flat but probably a boat tail. |

Ordered some but they are now running a special for .60/round and free shipping... ...

Tks for the post! ordered some to try. I can barely beat that loading 150 FMJBT's! Heck if it runs in the semi, I'm good.
Now, if Igman can churn out some decent 6.5cm--- |

I haven't shot any yet but I;m hopeful> How did you order from this link? I'm in for a box of this stuff to try out. I don't see prices or anything in the link. |

That is the specs for the round...
You order from Rainier Arms... |

@SilentDeath12886
How is it? I might pick up some too. |

Ok. I just grabbed some. I think it's worth a shot at that price with free shipping.

Even if it’s 2 moa ammo. At that price is a no brainer.
I’m impressed with the outside appearance and feel of the rounds. Very clean. .308 head stamp…sealed primers. Annealed. |

Exactly, even if it's 2moa with a semi, it's great. Do the math, at best you may save 30 loading 400 rounds, hardly worth it. Heck, if this is 1 mo from a bolt, run it.

Tikka would be a great setup to test this ..

Bought more...good deal regardless...

Already have tracking with an ETA of Wednesday.

Making a FMJ in 168 grains will not a match load make.

Cost less than my 185g Bergers right now.(bullets alone) I should have bought more on the Midway birthday discount when I got them for .40 or so. I have no expectations other than they are reliable. |

Got it in as scheduled.
45.5g of ball powder and 168.7g bullet from the one I took apart. Will get some pics and groups soon. Getting around 2550fps from my 20in Tikka. |

Very good!

1.5 MOA at .60/round is good to go in my book...
