I have a 6.5 Creedmore SR25 on its way. Has anyone shot this ammo in an AR-10 platform? I am wondering about the ammunitions ability to load into the gun given it uses a barrel extension with feed ramps as opposed to a bolt action.

I’ve not handled the sr25, but I see 10-15 folks per week shooting the AR-10/6.5c combo on a weekly basis. Most are moa - sub moa.
147 causes no issues on the ar’s I’ve seen. |

I haven't tried them yet but, I'm not sure how much longer the projectiles are. The 143 ELD-Xs and 140 ELD-Ms work well but they are right on the edge of fitting in pmags. 2.8 OAL off the top of my head.

No issues.
Shoots great in my 6.5 BA barrel. 130, 140, 142 and 147’s all feed fine and shoot great. |

Factory Creedmoor ammo is around 2.800 or less so should feed fine from AR mags. I measured the factory 147s when I got them and they were about 2.795" OAL.

Shot them yesterday in my GAP-10. Made my first ever 1000 yd cold bore hit at 1K with them.
I’ve tried many times for that perfect 1000 yd cold bore shot. I’ve made a bunch of 2nd round hits, but yesterday I finally nailed it. Point is, yes, they’re 100% GTG. |
