One of the legs on my 0311 tripod can only hold a few pounds weight before it starts sinking. I went to the website listed on the tripod (www.hogsaddle.com) to try and find out if it can be tightened but their website is down. Are they still in business?

The leg clasps appear to be held in with a pin of some sort. I understand there are lots of little pieces in the legs so I am reluctant to take it apart. Is there a simple way to tighten it?

Looking at the 0311tripod the description says it's based on the Slik 700D.  Looking at the Slik Schematic seems to indicate that they're aren't too many adjustable parts on the leg clasp.  You're best best would be to contact Slik, explain the faulty clasp and see what they have to say.

Thanks! I didn't see any way to tighten it down but I thought someone here might have a better idea.

Shadow Tech is going to send me some replacement parts.
