Local shop has a Bergara hmr pro premier line in 6.5 Creedmoor.
Price is 1499

I currently have a cdl .243 and a sendero 300 wm.

I really have no reason to get this but I love guns and the action is very smooth.

Any issues? I recall reading about the standard hmr and some bolt shroud issues or some nonsense? Any issues with the premier line?

They are on my list. Probably a 300 PRC if I ever get one. I already have some nice 6 and 6.5

I have seem them around $1300 numerous times, but not recently.

Went ahead and bought it. Placed an order with midway for some dies, lapua brass, and some 142smk. The shop had some 140 Berger vld and 1k brick of cci BR4 so I bought those as well. Euro optic has pst gen1 6-24 FFP mrad for 450 so I bought that too. Can’t wait. I cleaned the barrel and action and I’m ready for my components and optic to get here. Attachment Attached File

I paid $1455 for my HMR Pro HB in 6.5 Creedmoor. I was very pleased with my HMR and decided to add an HMR Pro to my collection.

Looks good! Have you adjusted the trigger yet? I turned mine down a little and it feels really nice.

I adjusted mine as low as it would go. Feels a little heavier than the flat blade timney I have in a rem 700 but overall the trigger is very nice.

If anyone is feeling generous please post some groups with you hmr pro.

Provided I don't screw it up, mine will print a nice group.

Wow awesome I take it that was factory sig ammo? I’m hoping I can get a sub .5” with Berger or SMK handloads.

The threads are right handed so to loosen you turn counter-clockwise.  (remember righty tighty, lefty loosey)

Thanks I just wanted to make sure I turned it right initially

Did you ever get this rifle sorted? How do you like it?

Anyone else have any raves or rants?

Thanks!

Sorry to hear about the rifle hopefully it shoots. Mine is a 6.5 creed and I have No issues with the rifle. Attachment Attached File

This is the best 3 shot group during load testing it’s a 142smk with H4350. I recently fired a .35”, 5 shot group with the same load. Almost every group I have fired is under .5 as well. Very accurate rifle.

Okay, you have hit my "buy button".
I have shot the Creedmore in the 6.5, but I have yet to own one. The ballistics will probably make it legendary in the field of long distance low recoil shooting. I had the .338 Lapua, but a serious car wreck made shooting it agonizing. Since then I have been in the search for a gun like the 6.5 Creedmore that will perform. To purchase such a a caliber on an AR platform maybe more temptation than I can stand!
