I bought a Triggertech Special to replace the factory trigger in my Bergara B-14 HMR and try as I might, I couldn’t get the front pin out far enough to remove the original trigger. It seemed to be about 1/8” or so from clearing the trigger housing. I was hitting the punch with far more force than I thought necessary and had a match the next morning so I just drove it back in and shot the factory one. Are these pins typically that hard to remove? Would spraying some lube on them help? I really hate to pay a smith to do such a simple job, but I don’t want to jack anything up either.
