Using the 168s in my Ruger American Predator and it shoots pretty good! Definitely better than the 147gr ball ammo offered by CBC.

I recently tested the CBC 168gr from a Savage 10, to compare with my Hornady and Federal Match  (I shot some of the 147 grain CBC .308 as well)

100 yds, prone, bibod front, bagged rear.  Millet 4-16 x 50 TRS, which was only used up to 10-power.

No wind  /  28 degrees F  /  ammo temp went from 40 to 34 degrees over the course of the hour from the first round to the 25th-ish.

All the rounds came from the same box..

I had a set average of plus / minus 1/2 MOA between the Hornady and Federal. This was the BEST I could muster out of approximately 200 rounds of each, shooting in 90 degree temps to sub zero temps using this rifle and scope over the last year.

I was VERY impressed with the CBC by comparison, although I DON'T have access to a 500 yard range for better sampling.

The grand average of the CBC was 1/2" lower hits over all, compared to the AVERAGE of the Hornady and Federal.

The 147 gr. ammo shot 10 inches higher on average...wow.

I haven't shot the 168gr, but I have shot plenty of CBC/ magtech ammo. I work for a shop that has a steady supply of their ammo, so i get it at a cheap price. I have never had an issue with any CBC product in my guns, or our stores demo guns. GTG in my book, and I'm generally picky over what I shoot.

While I'm sure there is plenty more accurate projectiles, i would assume they are decent enough to make good groups (not great groups) and put rounds down range to work on fundamentals.
