Does anyone have any input or thoughts on the 419 rifles?I dont know much about precision  22's, but this seems to have  alot of good stuff. The rifle comes with a bartlein barrel,  and the one on my 22-250 has been incredible. The rifle also has a rail, brake larger bolt knob,  cerikote, and  fluting, and of course  Manners stock . About $2100 sounds very reasonable, what do you think?

$2K is a good chunk of change to spend on a 22lr.  My 455 shoots sub MOA, and it cost less than $500.

What do you want this rifle to do?

Good point, and question.I have been studying  22 rifle reviews for about 2 weeks now.I have looked at the savage mk2 , the tikka, and all sorts of different cz 457's.I always seem to come across reviews  that talk about accuracy or stock issues with these rifles.I dont want to spend $500 + on a rifle that may or may not require work to make it shoot.
I currently  have a TC benchmark that is freakishly accurate,  but very temperamental  in reliability. I also am very pissed  at tc for no longer making magazines for this rifle.I will not pay $100.for another 10 rnd mag.

As far as what I plan to do with it, maybe some 22 matches, and definitely  group and steel shooting on my range.
I have a 700 yard range in my backyard, until the neighbor plants his corn, then I am limited to 70 yds.My 6.5 creedmore is kinda overkill at 70 yds.

maybe wait for the new Bergara bolt action and semi auto rimfire rifles to get out in the wild and get a few honest reviews from shooters who buy these off the rack.  alternatively, you can buy an excellent condition Rem 40-x or a Win 52 for about the same coin you are thinking of dropping,  and both of those rifles have a proven track record.  nothing against a custom rifle,  but after the smoke settles it is still a cz457.

Voodoo Tactical makes an excellent rifle, known to be excellent shooters.

I've never known a CZ 455 not to shoot well...no matter the model.  Now, the new 457 is still a new rifle, but I have heard only good things.

The CZ 457 ProVarmint Suppressor Ready is about $500...1/4 the cost of that 419 beast...I'd start there.  Spend the extra $1,500 on good glass and match ammo.

The 419 packages are awesome if you don't want to go for a Vudoo.  You do save a bit over what it cost to get a stock and trigger for the vudoo.

I think it's a sweet rifle and the price really isn't all that bad for what you are getting.

For some people thats a harder justification to make.  I love my vudoo but I wouldn't feel bad running the 457.
