Looking at dropping a Bergara barreled action into a Whiskey-3 chassis with enclosed forearm for use with a PVS-30.  Right now I’m trying to figure out how much taller the 12 o’clock rail is over a standard scope base (steel NF, in my case) on a Bergara action.

Main concern is proper alignment with the CNVD, so trying to figure out if I’ll have to swap out my 1.375” rings and if so, to what height?

If it’s going to require some stupid tall mount, wondering if the INVR or Spigot NVD mount (with and without spacers) may end up being shorter than the enclosed forearm rail?

I’ve looked at a ton of pictures, but obviously aspects and angles can make things look worse or better than they actually are.

I use my pvs30 on my rifles in KRGs with enclosed forend and never had a problem. All use normal sphur mounds and have used them on rifles with normal rings.
