I curious to see how many here compete in registered  NRA Prone matches.

I just bought  an Anshutz myself. It is a Model Match 54 made in 1971

I just ran a 50 and 100 yard benchrest match on Sunday. It really becomes all about reading the wind at 100 which can be quite maddening when you combine that with an occasional flyer. I felt a little bad because I won quite handily but I did beat out significantly better equipment.

What is the target they use at 100? I ended up making my own with printtargets.net.

For Prone Shooting with bipods we use the NRA A 25

Thanks, for some reason when I searching for 100 yard matches that never came up.

I ended up with a target that had a 3/4" ten ring at 100. We did 20 shots at each distance and I won with a 54/60 at 100 and 59/60 at 50, the target had only 3 rings so a 10 ring was 3 points.

If you want to shoot SB with your Precision Trainer start shooting  SB F Class Prone Matches.

They are starting to get popular in Pa and in the Southwest.

Bipod- No issue

Rear bag - No issue

Did you really mean "registered" matches or NRA "sanctioned" matches (covers both NRA approved and NRA registered)?

I do, but haven’t shot any since 2016.  Will have to shoot a match next year to maintain my classification.

Git off your belly and on your feet. Metallic silhouette, 40-100m standing unsupported, no gloves/jackets/slings.

Been a looooong time.

I think the news of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait broke the last time I was at the national matches,

Prone F-Class or coat and sling.  Pick your poison.
