Folks, I have an Aero Precision M5 lower, that has their 18" .308 precision upper on it now. I would like to get an A2 type of upper for it? They don't make one either and actually directed me to you folks to glean your knowledge on what you have found to be compatible with it? I am an old Marine who is partial to the old A2.

I think you only going to be able to find a removable carry handle for your A3 style upper receiver. Make sure you get one for the 308 as the 223 version is smaller. DPMS sold a LR-308 version called 308 Classic that had the carry handle.
