I finally finished the rifle and got out today to sight it in.  Pretty dang happy with the first outing.  This from from a bench at an indoor range.  The range was full and all the concussion was a little distracting but I managed to put together some decent groups!

Here is the rifle.

Aero Upper / Lower / Rail
Larue MBT Trigger
Warne 20moa MSR Optic Mount
Vortex Diamondback Tactical scope (It'll work for now)
Ballistic Advantage 22" barrel
Surefire Brake

Impressive. I’ve got a similar M5 build, but I’ve only had it out once. Mine is 308, 20” Faxon Gunner barrel.

Nicely done.

Do you load? Custom ammo will really tweak the groups. Did for both of mine. H4350, IMR4350 and StaBALL 6.5 have all worked well for me. Most bullets I've tried have worked well too but mine like heavies. I'm running 22" Rainier and Proof Carbon barrels on mine.

Enjoy the rifle, it is a really nice one.

I did in the past but don't have the equipment anymore.  I would like to get back in to it down the road here.

Looks like a solid stick and good shooting. Hand loads should shrink those group a little. Well done, enjoy your long range hole puncher

Nice. I load for everything. I enjoy it a lot and seeing results good or bad is always great.

The 6.5's are something I really like. I have 2 Creedmoor's a Grendel and now a 6.5 PRC bolt action. The more I shoot them the more I like them.

enjoy that rifle.

I'm curious to know how much that rifle weighs with the gunner profile barrel. I have an aero 5.56 rifle with a 16" gunner that weighs sub 7 lbs loaded with a 1-6 lpvo.

It's heavy for sure!  I'll try to weigh it here in the next few days.
