I am getting ready to choose a new barrel for my AR 10 and have shortened my 6.5 creemoor choices down to these three.

A) Wilson Combat
B) Noveske
C) Rainier Arms Match

I am looking for an 18" to 20" option for my rifle and would like to hear from other that have experience with these combos for feedback.

Any responses appreciated.

I bought a Larue barrel to swap out with my .308 barrel on my UU kit build. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot but that things really shoots. It’s a +2 gas’s system, cost me about 400 here on the EE.

I’m happy with it

I would strongly suggest looking at the Ballistic Advantage 6.5 creed barrels. Mine is easily sub moa. Even with hot brass causing a few errant shots, I pulled off a 10rd group at .73moa and a 5rd group right afterwards that was sub moa as well yesterday.

Nice shooting by the way. I will have to look at BA when I re-barrel my 308.

I have a Bartlein 20" from Keystone Accuracy (popular high power gunsmith for AR platforms)I need to sell. Only reason I sold it was to go to a $1100 Proof barrel

I paid $750 for it and I'd take $500 delivered.
I have the original recite showing details and what I paid.

Before you lay down your hard earned dollars, go to Falkor Defense's website. The best 6.5 Creedmoor for AR10's is the Dracos:

I'd look at a Proof Research barrel.

Cut rifling, +2/ELGS gas system.

The big thing on the 6.5 is getting the longer gas system; the difference is night and day on the 6.5 guns.

jesus tittyfucking christ, a grand for a barrel? What does it do that a Krieger won't for 60% of the price? Or a criterion for 30% of the price, for that matter....

Obviously you’ve purchased one, as you’ve posted in several threads, but how many have you actually shot?

What makes them the best?

I have a Rainier Ultramatch on my 6.5 Creedmoor. 22", fluted with rifle length gas using an SLR adjustable gas block. It's been a really nice barrel. I'm sure it is capable of more than I am. The pic below is pretty average for me with that rifle. I also have a Wilson Combat, but that is on my 6mm Creedmoor. It produces good groups. I'm still tuning the loads with it.
