Just put a Trigger Tech "Special" into my newish 700 that I bought at the end of last year. It is an AAC action in an Ashbury stock (the Cabelas model).

After dry-firing to test the trigger, I cannot simply lift the bolt handle to reset the sear / firing pin. I have to physically pull the bolt back about 1/8" to reset the trigger / sear.

Is this normal? Or should I be able to lift the handle and rest the sear / trigger?
