I just picked up an RPR in .308. I have a viper 4-12x40 sitting on the shelf i could use. I also have a 2
.5-10x44 viper on the shelf. I also have a 6.5-24x50 HST on a 24" Gendel upper I could pull for the RPR and put one of the others on the Grendel. Thoughts? |

Just from the bench I would choose the higher mag... gonna be in the field I want the 2.5 low end for the added FOV. Can you sell both & combine the cash for a different optic?

I mounted the 4 - 16 on there as a place holder last night. It was really meant for something else. the RPR was an impulse buy without a spare scope laying around for it. After i grab a couple cans I may loop back in and upgrade the glass on there with a FFP one.
