Are drags still popular?  I've never used them, but I here they Are popular in Rocky ground.  Would $1.50 for a 1/2 inch drag be a good price?.  Made from rebar.

As long as it works that’s a good price. Some drags are better than others.

I use drags for trapping bobcats in rocky terrain.

A 4in diameter cedar pole with with the limbs cut off about 3in from the trunk works great.
