Don't scare, I shipped 2 xtl5000 down to Zap to get updated.
I do like the radios. |

When flashing Astro 25 series radios...always use a serial cable. Something about the USB cables just cause issues with the radios when running FlashZap.
Try putting the radio into FlashZap...you may be able to recover that way. ASRM, they showed up yesterday afternoon but I haven't opened the box yet |

Teams and teams of engineers and still can’t do something as simple as updating firmware.
I guess I’m a little grumpy because my mototrbo was one version lower then the codeplug version on my 7550. After an hour download from their mol server that topped out at 300kb/s I was able to read it. |

I'm glad I have an iButton. Makes flashing XTL/XTS radios much easier.
