Picked up this wingbone call the other day; this gift was made for me by the Sheriff of Dinwiddie County.

Bit of a learning curve but I'm starting to get the hang of it.

Can't wait to try it out when the season opens April 8.

Nice , I love wing bone calls.

Really got into them when I was hunting in Pa. a few years ago with some local guys.

I am kind of partial to synthetic ones with a "kisser " button.

Even used it as a striker on a slate call in a moment of desperation.

Does the kisser button help?  It’d be easy to retrofit using some kind of o-ring, I’d think.

That’s a great looking caller with the accoutrements.
I don’t know anything about calls, but I wanna learn.  Going to pick one up from bass pro, watch some YouTube videos, and practice while I’m driving (don’t wanna drive my wife and dogs crazy).
If you don’t mind, could y’all point me in the right direction for a rookie turkey hunter?  I hunt in middle, east Georgia.  Season for us opens April 1st.  I set up my blind-stand in a tree island, bottom of a slopping 10-12 acre pasture.  I have 2 Tom decoys that I put out.  Last year I had a flock come within 60 yards of me.  I didn’t feel confident enough of the shot, so I passed on taking it.  Thanks.

Just AWESOME! My wife's wing bone clucks sound better than a real hen.

It does for me,  gives me an anchor point.
Without it I just can get a good tone out of it.

It's like Christmas Eve here in Virginia.

Tomorrow, baby...

Hope your weather is better than ours. Good luck with the bone call.
