I have a 2011 Yamaha F90 four stroke.

It was purchased new in 2013 and the first owner put about 100 hours on it.

I bought it used in 2015 and I have put about put about 100 hours on it since then so it has about 200 hours total time.

I do all my own maintenance but have never changed the timing belt. Watched some videos and decided I don't want to tackle that job.

So... at 9 years old and 200 hours should it be changed?

Get someone to inspect it and if it looks ok don't worry about it?

Change it IMO. @akethan would know what the service interval is as he is

a Yamaha dealer.

It’s a 100 hr inspect, 1000 hr replace. My F115’s are in the 800 hr range, I’ll be doing them after this boating season.
