....than their Western cousins. One day I'll coyote hunt out West.

For now, it'll be our Ohio coyotes.

That sumbitch looks like a coydog hybrid- and they usually have all the bad traits of both species.

That's odd looking, definitely not a regular coyote. Looks like it could be a dog or wolf and coyote mix.

No, it is a yote, it was a pup this spring, it just came through again this morning.

It has grown alot in the last couple months. It hunts the woodchucks around my property, I am ok with this but they end up getting too friendly and start scaring my customers.

Sooner or later I have to shoot them for getting to bold.

They're not harder to kill, the west just has more of them.

Another month or so for me before I start putting up fur.

Looks like a pretty coyote. Ours should be getting nice and prime. I'm planning on stringing steel this weekend or next week.

Post pics if it is not too much trouble.

The one tonight had some pretty dark hair on his back. Buddy of mine has been wanting one like that to make fly’s out of so I took it to him.

I don’t know how it is in other parts of the East, but here we have some strong numbers this year going by what I am seeing when I call and hear when I locate. Should be a fun winter.
