My 11 year old kiddo got his first deer this morning.  75 yard shot with 6mm Creedmoor 108 ELD-M.  Pass thru, both lungs and completely destroyed the heart.  Went 15 yards and dead right there.  Spraying blood like crazy.  Proud Dad here.

Congrats young man.  I sat in the rain all evening and didn't see anything worth shooting.

Nice!  Doesn't get any better than that.  Congrats to you both.  My five year old shot his first one last season while sitting in my lap in a blind.  I was more pumped than he was, and there's no bigger trophy out there than your kid putting their first one on the board.

Shot mine today.  400 yards, hit little low and forward.  Busted both shoulders.  Had to finish him with a head shot so no pics.  He wasnt very pretty.  This is me carrying him back to the truck, quartered.

Great job!  Looks like happy kid.  My oldest son shot his first one last year.  I think I had more fun being there and watching it unfold than he did!! Amazing memory that you will never forget!
