Anyone ever heard of using the Slim Jim meat snacks as catfish bait?  Friend of mine said he uses it often and it works well.  Stays on the hook superbly and creates a nice greasy scent trail.  Kinda makes sense.  Just curious if anyone else had ever heard of using it.  I may have to give it a try......what could it hurt?

They are great bluegill sunfish bait too and last along time on the hook.

Hot dogs work amazing so I can only imagine what snapping into a slim jim is like for a cat.

Cats get stupid over meat snacks.  Here's proof.

I guess I'm a little late to the party but this is the best Slim Jim flavor for channel cats

I've caught bluegills and sunfish on Italian beef also. for those that know the Chicago/suburbs area of IL Portillo's Italian beef works quite well.
