Agree, hope it runs as well as it looks! Can't figure out the lights only underneath the rear fenders though, was that a thing in 1970?? Seems like it would potentially shadow your path?

Completely normal for fifty years ago with just fender lights and even more rare on a small tractor like that.

Little over three months ago this decided it didn’t like oil on the inside while brush hogging. Went to pick it up today.

Cleaned this off then greased a ton, because tractors love grease. Then put that thing on.

There was stuff here but I took that off, cleaned it up, then greased it, because tractors love grease.

Then I greased all those, because tractors love grease and any grease on it was at least three months old.

Took time for a quick family photo while I rearranged the overhang for parking (tractors also love shelter).

Was hoping to rebuild this and turn it into something useful somehow.

Timing belt cover indicates that it might be best suited to hold up a glass topped coffee table.

Seems that would be problematic for 3-pt hitch arms. Is it?

The BH subframe?  It's never interfered in any configuration I've used.  You have to remove the 3PT hitch to mount the BH but that's two bolts and a pin per arm, takes more time to figure out which size wrench than to get them off (pro tip after about four years I finally wrote the size on with paint markers, some of us learn slower than others )

I don't know how bad you broke the engine, and I guess you won't know either until you look inside the timing cover.  But that sure would make a great engine for a swap project on a pickup truck.

I would live to have a Kubota powered pickup.  Just saying...

Absolutely. My top three right now are generator, tracked hunting rig, rock/mud buggy for hunting. The first and last probably the most likely but the middle one sounds like the most fun.

Obviously step one is crack her open, then start day dreaming about the right table top for it

Not sure, did Kubota bring that in house or they still buy them?  I’ll look for a tag.

My Kubota dealer sold me on an Ansung instead of a Kubota loader on my L3901 due to cost.  After discounts it was $1,000 cheaper to go with an Ansung.  I don't have complaints with mine, but I don't see many people with them.

Nice. Details on lights. Did they come with the magnet mounts? Need to get something added to my tractor. Headlights are pretty much useless with the plow.

Harbor freight 4 LED pods ($22each with 20% off coupon). Magnets are from HF as well. I think they’re advertised as 95 lb magnets. Set up ready to go with the hardware that comes with the light pods. When you get the lights watch...they have flood and spot lights in nearly the same box. I opted for flood as throw distance wasn’t important and it’s not exactly a high speed machine. Got power cord from Lowe’s  the wiring kit that you can buy for the lights at HF is going to be too short. Probably need about 18’ of cord to run it from the battery to the switch and under the body along the factory wiring harness up to the ROPS.  Switch was $10 from Advance Auto...30 amp.  I have less than $100 into it all

I need to do that...

I'm presently adding a hitch receiver to my grapple and bucket so I can snatch the can on trash day quicker (and with less mangling of the can with the grapple )

Adding one to the forks makes sense too.

If you mean the Kubota loader is just rebranded, you are wrong.  I have watched them build the Kubota loaders for Basic L's from start to finish in a Kubota facility from start to finish.  Facility is in Gainesville, GA.

My college-age daughter had some friends from school at the farm over the weekend. One of the city girls wanted to learn to drive the tractor. So, I gave her enough instruction to drive a couple of laps in my JD 3025. They were all giggles and smiles. It was a little funny since I did the same with one of my young nephews (about 12 y.o.) on Christmas day.

I can’t say I’ve ever heard of this happening on sand.  Was carrying about 130 gallons of water on the FEL so not maxed out.

Ohh whale.

Couldn’t get a chain binder on it because I only have one ratchet style and the screw style didn’t like the radius of the tire
So it took this many ratchet straps to get the bead to hold.

Worst damage I could find while it was off. It’s held pressure for about three hours now so I’ll check it in the morning, hope I got lucky.

That is pretty common on front tires that are carrying a heavy load or don't have enough air pressure.  I've seen EA do it a couple times.  They always use some type of fuel to rebead the tire.

This reminds me:  I need to check the tire pressure in my L4330 before the same thing happens to me.

Tracking all.  It was one of my primary reasons to upgrade from the BX

Sad part is when I started up I noticed the rears looked a little lower pressure than I like so I was going to go add air after that job because it was on the way to the garage from the shed. Go figure.

For some odd reason Two Monkeys and a bowling ball seems appropriate. Yeah very good tire pressure lesson. And a good reason for a bead pressure tank to be added to your tools.

The hairspray trick no longer worksIt's not explosive enough.

I bought myself a cheap flail mower with Hammer blades.  There is an area of woods where some creeks come together and it's just a nice little spot.  I want to clear all the underbrush.

I didn't have much faith in this thing, but I can say that it has performed well beyond my expectations!

Doing some heavy Kubota RTV maintenance and mod work.  I need the RTV bed off.

No problemo:  Just call in my L4330 for the job!

With the bed off, it will be a lot easier to:

- Bypass the OEM $150 mechanical fuel pump with an $15 Yanmar electric pump
- Replace the HST inlet hoses
- Replace the OEM rear springs shackles in longer/heavier ones to raise the rear end 1 1/2".

Finally got over the first “major hydraulic leak” on the new tractor. 41 hrs, been waiting for it

Would have been a 30 second fix to tighten the hose back down but had to take off a stupid cover to get at it so of course had to go get an actual tool box with sockets to reach two bolts.
