I found a decent vintage Alumacraft EZ, 12 foot car topper.
I have been looking for a while.
It weighs 95 lbs,  and that is the attraction...

No trailer needed.

I took it out yesterday, with my 5 h.p. Honda four stroke
It worked good,  but I have at least 2 leaking areas.

What would you experts recommend, to seal this boat ?

Replace the rivet and coat it in 5200.

Just junk it and get some chicken wire and FlexSeal.

Use AN470A rivets for boat bottoms. Sheet metal is pretty soft and 1100 alloy (pure aluminum) rivets will seal better.

We always fixed leaky rivets on lunds and hewescraft boat with a heavy hammer held to the rivit on the bottom side and hit the rivet from the inside with hammer and punch.
