I noticed there is no specific section in the EE for trying to sell fishing equipment. I have some spinning reels I purchased in the late sixties to mid seventies, that I want to sell.

Do you folks list them in the EE under the "all other" category or is there another site I should list them in? The reels are all in excellent shape, have had very little use and I am hopeful they will go to someone who will not only appreciate them but get a lot of use from them.

Recommendations? Thanks for any assistance/advice given.

Any cardinal 3s or 4s by any chance?

No, none of those. They were some of the crème de la crème back in the '70s, but I didn't have the foresight to get any. I was more into shooting then, with occasional bass fishing with my dad. In retrospect I should have bought a few Cardinals and put them away back then.

No Daiwa's, sorry.

Garcia Mitchell 300. Made in France, purchased in about 1968 or '69, with instr. manual, tool and spare spool with container.

Browning 504

Shakespeare 2000 Series E 025

Olympic 510, with 2 spare spools

The last three were bought mid to late '70s if memory serves me correctly.

Nothing spectacular, just good, smooth, old solid reels, in excellent shape with very little use.

Posted to satisfy curious folks.
