How’s everyone’s pre seasons looking?

Kinda bummed here in Michigan at least where I’m at and what friend have told me is most of the wheat is down already.
Seems kinda early compared to years past but it’s also been dry as shit

I've started to keep an eye on some of the wheat fields I drive by occasionally; the resident geese are starting to fly and our season starts August 20th with a 15 bird daily limit.  I don't hunt the august season much, but if I find a hot feed or a buddy invites me I won't turn it down.  Too often in August the birds land well short of decoys and are very anti-social yet.

Duck numbers look average, pheasant numbers appear to be up.  Too much water in the northeastern part of the state, and too dry in the central part of the state.

When we went berry picking I saw all kinds of waterfowl in lakes/ponds.
New area for me but the boat ride is not worth it as it is over a two hour boat ride.

Old standby area is looking okay for waterfowl population.
