Hey guys. I'm looking to plan a trip to Erie pa next fall to steelhead fish.  I'm curious as to what rod and reel you would use for such a venture.  Anyone have any suggestions or comments that would help?

I think alot of guts use a noodle rod.  Other than that I don't know much about it.  Check out fisherie.com and see if you can get any tips from that site
