If you start to feel seasick, don't do down below. Cut bait. Don't fall overboard. Have fun!

Scopolamine.

I did deep sea white fishing 42 years ago. I don’t remember much about the fishing, but I remember barfing and retching for most of the 3 hours.

It started when they chummed the waters. 🤮

They make non-drowsy Dramamine.  Get some.
Seasickness will ruin your day.  If you don't go offshore often enough to acclimate, you don't know how susceptible you are.  Don't roll the dice.

Scopolomine as suggested above is good stuff, but it's expensive and prescription-only.

I captained a commercial boat decades ago, and had no issues after the first week on the water, no matter how rough it was, because my brain had acclimated.
If I go out in rough seas on a friend's boat now I take Dramamine.

DONT GO HUNG OVER!!!!!!!!!! a long sleeve sun shirt , sun hat , nuclear grade sun block , easy to eat snacks , gator aid ,

Do not fall asleep in “the chair”. An old trick on the greenhorns is to wait till they fall asleep in the chair then clip a 5 gal bucket on , let it out a couple 100 ft then start yelling .  Good for 30 minutes of entertainment.
