Great time in TX outside of San Antonio.
Had to use a crossbow as we were in a field the also had some cattle. We stalked them until we were about 25 yards away, then let the arrow fly! Saw a few trophy boars, but went with smaller ones as we going to see how they taste.

It was a night hunt, we used thermal vision to find the hogs.
I should have the video in a couple of weeks. All but one were pretty much DRT, that one went about 20 yards before dropping. The game processor says these should be pretty good eating as they've been eating alfalfa and grain meant for cattle. Texas is an awesome place! |
