I also forgot to mention that they will be going through a piece of 1/4" (hopefully!) copper plate.  Assuming I can get one without paying an arm and a leg for it from my local welding company.

So far I've been "offered" $475 for "the pair" (I assume he wants the CB too) or a trade for a ham sandwich.

Something tells me they aren't taking the "ad" seriously.

I also have a Diamond F22A VHF antenna. It's a solid performer. I sparyed the white fiberglass with black flex seal and it blends into the background.

That was a mistake, the DXE sort said it was a dual 2m/70cm band antenna and I didn't catch it until later.  I'm now planning on the Diamond X200.  It's an 8.3 ft dual band.
