For years I've wanted a Sears Suburban because I think they look cool, but recently I find myself wanting a Cub Cadet 149.

How bad are these to get parts for? Is it an unwise decision to buy an old machine like this?

I'd probably be fine with a crappy light duty riding mower but I want an International Harvester, damnit!

It would be used for primarily mowing and possibly snow blowing. I'm no farmer.

Or search for the original Bolens Suburban - pre 1993, before they were bought by Troy Built, which later got absorbed into the BORG mower collective.
