My .223 Mini Mauser with a Douglas Premium barrel and the group i shot this past weekend with it

700 AWR in 7mm Rem Mag with VX5HD for my longer shots in deer season

Tikka T3 Hunter with iron sights made specifically for Alberts GMBH in Germany. .30-06 Springfield bought from the EE this summer
EAW Quick release mount (WELL worth the money, insane return to zero)
Trijicon AccuPoint 2.5-10x56 with red triangle post reticle

Ammo was handloaded 180 gr Woodleigh RN in front of 54 gr IMR4350 and a CCI LR Primer

Absolutely love this rifle setup. .30-06 isn't my first choice but it sure does work.

Bullet went in and turned everything in front of the diaphragm into soup, broke the off shoulder and embedded into the tree behind him in 2 or 3 pieces. He went maybe 20 yards and folder pretty hard down the hill.

Ill have to get some pics of other hunting rifles tomorrow

Main big game rifle is a Sako A7 in 308 with a Swarovski z6 which has taken most of my animals in the last 6 or seven years from boar, Elk, bear, and deer.

I also use a Savage Light weight hunter with a Steiner on it for serious mountain terrain and as a back up/loaner.

Blind hunting or long range antelope or elk. Remington 700 shiloh barrel, sig tango 6 scope, 308, Timney trigger, Dead air can.

Varmints.
PRI spr mod 0, Nightforce, Geissle trigger, Allen engineering can.

I have lots of hunting rifles… but this is definitely a fav

CVA Scout in .35 Whelen with Burris Fullfield E1 4.5-14x42.  Has a 2.5# trigger from the factory.

Inexpensive, but a ringer and hits like Thor’s hammer

Newly acquired Remington 7600 in 30-06.  I have new glass to put on it.  I added a recoil pad and rear peep sight that works through my rings.

Gonna use a 2-7x33 Leupold on it.

Must have been a re-chambered 600, I was not aware the factory ever offered one in that caliber

Just installed a Boyd’s stock on this. I was never happy with the factory plastic stock. Felt flimsy and cheap. Winchester M70 in .270.

Another fav:

The “Meal Maker”

Kimber 84M in .308 with Leupold VX2…

Light weight.  A turd for accuracy when I originally got it from Kimber, but after a bunch of work (bedding action and barrel, crown, hand lap, truing action, and trigger tech trigger) it is now the tits…
