Guys, can you give me a hand?

I can’t think of the name of the non fiction, first hand account of recent societal collapse. I believe it took place in the Balkans or Eastern Europe? I read it years ago and can’t remember the author or title.

The author emphasized you can’t survive alone and stock up on alcohol, cigarette lighters and have a skill that people find valuable.

I’m asking this because as you probably realize, there’s a lot of people out there not feeling well about our nations direction. Susie soccer mom types..

Hell, my doctor even asked what he should do...

I’d like to direct them toward something in recent history.

Thanks for any help!
