I ordered some parangs from Malaysia a few years ago after watching Junglecrafty. I emailed him and he put me in touch with a shop that made them. Customs changed after my order from what I heard, and when I went to buy more I was not able to.

The My Parang tools are made in the same factory. I would like to own a plastic handle version.

Yeah, the plastic-handled ones were like $12 each. Shipping was about $50, so I ordered 6 or so of them and gave a few away as gifts.
