Burned a total of 76 acres the past weekend, and tommorrw start planting.
Never planted for dove, only deer and upland.
Anyone have a preferred blend?
Millet, sorghum, and obviously sunflower.
Black, dwarf, or yellow?
Want to keep it around 2-3 acres, and will be in bottom ground.

Sunflowers, shredded early, works to develop a beautiful viewing (only) of both morning and evening feedings.

We have done well with sunflowers and wheat.

I plant 3-4 2ac food plots of brown top millet every year.  It’s not as enticing as sunflower but Much easier to grow and hardy, in my area.
