Nice!

My club (HCARC) showed one of your videos on a fox hunt last week.
Interesting.

I think there are several Hams on this board that did Tech/Gen/Extra in one sitting - A Free Man might be one.

Congrats to the newly minted Extra!!! - get him on the air now guys!

(BTW I did it the hard way, Novice, Tech, Tech+, General, and then Extra.  My memorization skills were never put to the all in one sitting challenge.)

I passed all three exams in one sitting a couple years back. I was rather spent afterwards. I shook a few hands, grabbed my paperwork and went home. It was a bit of a blur. I enjoy learning, and for the most part, I did my best to actually understand the material rather than just memorize the answers. Even so, I have since forgotten much of it.

A few years ago I got interested and was put in contact with a VE.
He encouraged me to study for and take the general exam also.
Being thankful that these VE's do this for no pay I took his advice.
Got the books and studied.

After a few weeks I decided to order and read the Extra book.
Than was insane.

Kept reading, researching and taking practice exams.

Showed up at the exam and passed all three.

One of the VE's asked me what I did for a living.
I said I'm an MRI technologist and I also teach radiology physics.
I asked why do you want to know?
He said this is only the second time someone has passed all three exams in one sitting.

The big reason why I was able to pass all three is I studied my a$$ off for a solid four weeks.
It also helped that I have always been in a technical field.

Being a VE, I feel most don't pass all three at one sitting is because they don't try.
They will only study and prepare for one or maybe two exams and never even read about the extra exam.

I just passed Tech and General at the first sitting because I did not know you could take all three at once.  Did Extra a month later.
