Getting ready to upgrade my dehydrator.  Is the base model Excalibur really worth twice the price of a Magic mill with more options ?

I'm making fruit leather as well speak. Also, always have tons of homemade jerky on hand.

To answer your question, my magic mill works great. Multiple Temps, timer, 7 trays. I bought those orange silicone baking mats separate and they work great for leathers.
