Just saw "Ravagers" with Richard Harris,. A 1979 post apoc movie i amazingly enough had never seen or heard of.. Not all that great but i enjoyed finally seeing it.
It was on Netflix or Amazon prime I don't recall which. |

Just watched Rescue Dawn with the fam last night.
We all cringed the couple of times he ditched his weapons- WTFF over??? Ravagers is good mainly just for Richard Harris and the guy from the Honeymooners. Actually lots of old stars in that one. |

A uniquely 70's version of what the future is like after all old people are killed after a military accident. Amazon Prime has it. BE WARNED, this is likely the worst post apocalyptic movie ever conceived or filmed. |

Anyone who have never seen Testament HAS TO WATCH it!!!!
Extremely moving. This is the "The Road" level cinema. A young Kevin Costner and Rebecca DeMora are in it. This was a made for TV movie that was so good that it was released to theaters and the main actress was nominated for an academy award. The actors had to sue the studio for pay because they got "made for TV" money but it was released in theaters. The book One Second After stole it's plot from this movie(Author admits as such). 8nBAIT |

It has a little 90's cringe (mainly the music), but is a good season or two on a town surviving after a nuclear war. Apparently the Morse code at the beginning changes from season to season to reflect what's going on.  Jericho Season 1 Trailer |

I actually really enjoyed it. It basically asks the question; if you knew what time the world ended, what would you do?
Seeking a Friend for End of the World This was okay, just made you think. The Surface Old fashioned kill the zombies with an M14 and B acting Daylights End Stupid humor with real war vets Range 15 End of the USA Man in the High Castle Not Prime but it is on Netflix. Casey Affleck wrote and directed. Trying to save his daughter after a flu kills almost all the women. Not many guns, which as usual is stupid, but very hearfelt, especially for those with daughters. |

Yul Brynner as a wandering knife fighter in a post nuclear New York City. He comes across an enclave led by Max Von Sydow. The head bead guy is the great William Smith. I haven't seen it since the 80s, but it seems to be well reviewed generally. |
