Do any of you know if the sprocket for the 562XP will fit the 550xp to make the conversion?
I’m going to use a 16 inch bar with a semi chisel chain on small stuff.
If it doesn’t work out well I can still use the parts I’ve already bought on other saws I own.   I like to buy spools of chain to make my own and I hate having to have different sizes if I don’t really need it

It should be a simple job to swap the rim sprockets out to 3/8. The bar will need changing too.

I have a new Sugihara 16in 3/8th bar that is for the 560xp
The sprocket should be all I need. I’m pretty sure I just use the part number for a 562xp

Oregon 18720 small spline 3/8-7 is the part that seems to be the trick.
The 562 part is the large spline so no go without more parts.   Should have it setup by the weekend.
