Can someone help me pick out a trolling rod/reel combo?

I need to find a present for my brother and he wants a rod and reel for trolling rockfish in the bay. I want to get a reel that has a counter and a rod that has rollers. Does anyone know of a combo that won’t break the bag but it’s very good? Thank you

I just picked up an Okuma combo with the Magda 20 line counter on it for about $100 OTD.
It's the same rig a buddy of mine has been using, and recommended. He uses it for Walleye and Great lakes salmon.
It has standard guides, not rollers.

Can someone help me pick out a trolling rod/reel combo?
