We bought a house 3 weeks ago and I haven't had a chance to sneak out once this season. Finally finished cleaning out the old place (we have a ton of shit) late this afternoon. Weather looks decent, and I think the rivers are going to be great tomorrow. No idea what my fly boxes look like right now, but we'll just have to make due.
My backup reel was cranky when I swapped my new line onto it (broke my precious Princess last season). Hope Tetra gun grease holds up; it was all I had on-hand.
Thinking about hiking into the Neversink. It's not often the stars align for me there and I've only been once (in a gorge--fills up fast when it rains a little). Big wide thing with no-one to be seen. I normally hit NE CT, but I just don't have the energy for that kind of wading right now.
