for a 5w rig on size 12 nymphs?  Never tied flies with bead heads but I'm dying to try it.  Found several vids on youtube but none of them give details on the size of bead they're using.

I use this as a general guideline, for that size hook, but if it looks wrong I change it.  I also have some other beads, in between those sizes, like 3.0

7/64" or 2.8MM – Hook Sizes 12-16
1/8" or 3.2MM – Hook Sizes 10-14
5/32" or 4.0MM – Hook Sizes 8-12
