I guess it's a good year for fur prices to be down bc I'm sitting on a big fat zero this year. I don't trap for fur, I trap for decreased fawn, turkey, and quail mortality.

Normally I would already have several coyotes but so far I have none. Buddy of mine several hours north of me is having the same luck (or lack thereof)...

Not a trapper but there are a lot less in my neck of the woods.  Been thinning them out the last 3 years though.  Probably averaged 10-12 kills/year but nothing the last 4 or so months.  

Every now and then one will pop by the bait pile but dont come back on a regular basis, which is my indication to start hunting them at night.  

Hearing the same thing from other night time coyote hunters as well.

Still VERY slow here. 2 years ago at this time I was around 15 for the season and last year I was around 10. This year I'm at 5...
